Bellaire wins 1st place! Michaelides and Ong tie for 1st! Michaelides wins free tuition and expenses for 4 years!

Bellaire High School really did well. Matthew Michaelides of Bellaire got 2nd place on tiebreaks after tying for first place with teammate William Ong. Matthew Michaelides got a full ride scholarship to University of Texas at Dallas. Why didn't William Ong get it you might be wondering? Because he won one last year.

As a University of Texas at Dallas Alumnus, I hope they seriously consider using their full ride scholarships!

Maybe now I won't mind waking up for the 6:40am team meetings anymore!
