Preparation for State Championship Pictures! Hosted at PCA.

We had 13 players show up for our training session Friday night (the night before State Grade).

The students each received a TOP SECRET packet with their name on it. In it were special "light" puzzles designed to warm the players up without exhausting. One theme that we focused on was "defense against mate threats".

After the students worked on their warm-up puzzles, they played an informal game.

3rd Grade Bovey Liu was at our training session and he went on to achieve a perfect score in the tournament, becoming State Champion!
